The calm waters of St. John's many protected bays is ideal for snorkeling and diving. Beginners can experience the underwater world with little or no current. Boat dives go to the many little "cays" that surround St. John. Experienced divers can enjoy wrecks, reefs, and spectacular night dives. Never tried it? Most dive shops now offer "Discover Scuba" courses - within a few hours you can learn the basic skills and have an eye-opening experience!
