 The National Park Service has many programs available for you and your famliy to choose from. |
Sunday |
Learn about coastal plants and animals, and the marine life in Leinster Bay. Wear comfortable shoes that you can wade in. A reservation is not required, but suggested. |
| Monday Thursday 10am - 3pm Reef Bay Hike |
Explore St. John's tropical forests, petroglyphs, and sugar mill ruins along a three-mile downhill hike. You should bring your own lunch, 1 or 2 liters of water per person, any special medication, and a swimsuit if you would like to cool off in the ocean after the hike. It is suggested you wear good hiking shoes instead of open-toed shoes or swim booties. Anyone with circulatory, joint/muscle problems, and other medical conditions, or small children should carefully evaluate their ability to do this hike. There is a chance that deteriorating sea conditions might require hiking back uphill. A reservation is required for this hike. |
| Tuesday 9:30am - 10:30am Snorkel Trip |
Snorkel above a beautiful coral
reef and learn about the park's underwater resources. Brink a mask,
snorkel, fins, and a t-shirt for extra sun protection. Not for
beginners. |
| Wednesday Friday 10am - 2 pm Annaberg Cultural Demonstrations |
Learn the importance of agriculture
in the Virgin Islands from slavery to present times. Tasting of traditional
"dumb bread" will be available. A reservation is not required, but suggested. |
| Saturday | There are no programs on Saturdays. Don't worry though, there's still so much to do. How about spend a day in the British Virgin Islands? |
