About a mile long, Cinnamon Bay is the Park's longest beach. There is also a great campground area with tons of services available including showers, toilets, telephones, changing areas, charcoal grills, a restaurant, general store and beach shop. The camping facilities are great for die hard campers providing bare camp sites and tents or for the not - so - rustic camper, providing small cottages with beds and a kitchenette ( no refrigerators). There are also several wheelchair accessible campsites. The best part is your sleeping right next to the beach. Can you hear the waves? |

This is a 2.2 mile trail from Centerline Road to the Reef Bay Valley sugar factory near Genti Beach. The trail descends about 927 feet and average time is between 3-5 hours. Get a ranger to guide you, which they will do several days a week ($15 per person, but oh so worth it and includes boat transportation). Because of limited space, advance reservations are required. Call 340/776-6201 to reserve your space. |

Do I need to say more? Two different theories: they were done by the Amerindians, who once inhabited the island, and the other theory - African slaves of the island's colonial era are resonsible. Either way, nobody knows for sure what the mean! They are just really cool to look at. Not to mention, the carvings on the rocks are right next to a fresh water pool , so jump in. The trail is a spur that intercects with the Reef Bay Trail 1.6 miles from the trailhead on Centerline Road. |
